In literature there ar many different elements that make up a accounting, whether it is a short story, a novel, a film based on a novel, etc. However, elements in some stories are frequently more obvious to the reader than others. In the movie deadlock By Me, based on a Stephen King novel, the elements are quite prominent.
The element of character was strongly portrayed by means of several groups of people in the film. Oftentimes, characters are instantly tagged by the audience as bad or solid based upon a stereotype. Chris Chambers, who was a close friend of Gordy Lechance, set up slow be perceived as a 1950s punk who is up to no good. As the story progresses the audience finds out that Chris is protective, loving, and cares greatly about his friends, particularly for Gordy. He cares to a point that reaches past the physical safety of his friends, and in one scene he scolds Gordy for not reaching his sound potential in school, as well as his inhering ability for writing stories. Chris does not fatality Gordy to end up like him and the rest of their friends, because they are known for getting themselves into shiftiness and minor misdemeanors. Though the hearts of these boys are naturally good, Chris knows that this life style is a dead end and will destroy all of their futures. Even with the poor reputation of Gordy and his friends, they still can easily be perceived as the protagonists of the story.
