In its earliest stages, symptoms include hyperactivity, escapism of ideas, inflated self-esteem, distractibility, and excessive involvement in reckless activities (Hollandsworth, Jr. 1990). Less common symptoms include loss of all stake and retardation (Weisman, 1992).



It can affect anyone, male or female, regardless of race, age or environment.
